About WISSH

The Woodstock Institute for Science & the Humanities was incorporated as a not-for-profit 501 (C)(3) organization in 1991 to bring together experts from different fields. The 28 founding members included experts in food, medicine, law, nursing, actuarial sciences, chemistry, electronics, rheology, packaging, cancer research, molecular biology and education. The common denominator was a desire to work with other scientist to apply their expertise to reduce human suffering.

We began Doing-Business-As (DBA) as the Woodstock Institute for Science in Service to Humanity (WISSH) that better describes what we do.
